Former President Donald Trump’s son, Eric Trump, on Tuesday, Feb. 2, said he would be willing to support his father if he decides to run for the White House in 2024.

“My father did something that no political figure has ever done in American history and he changed this country, he changed it for the better. He taught people how to fight and he gave Americans a greatest civic lesson and it’s exactly what this country needed,” Eric Trump told Fox News’s Sean Hannity.

“He’s a father to America and I’m incredibly proud of him and I would be right by his side again. As painful as it was Sean and you know how painful it was. As painful as it was I would be right by his side and encouraging him,” he added. “He’s an amazing guy and I have never been more proud of him.”

House Democrats voted to impeach the former president for a second time on Jan. 13 on the single count of “incitement of insurrection,” making Trump the first president in U.S. history to be impeached twice.

After leaving office, Trump established the Office of the Former President that seeks to advance the interests of the United States and carry on the agenda of his administration. He announced that he will help Republicans to take back the House in the 2022 midterms but has not said whether he will campaign in 2024.

Speaking on “Hannity,” Eric Trump described President Joe Biden’s first 13 days in office as “disastrous for our country” and said Americans will miss the former president quickly.

“It’s cost thousands of jobs. Look at the [Keystone] XL pipeline, something that would have been amazing for this country, for the energy independence,” Trump said. “The only person happy about the XL pipeline [being canceled] is Warren Buffett, [since] now all the fuel can go across [the country on] trains.”

“Look at what they’re doing with immigration, they canceled the wall,” he continued. “That doesn’t benefit millions of Americans who are out of work, that doesn’t benefit our population, that doesn’t benefit a nation that is going through a pandemic not knowing who is coming to this country.”

Discussing Biden’s decision to rejoin the Paris climate agreement, Eric Trump asked, “We’re going to start paying for all the environmental problems of China again? We’re going to start paying for the environmental problems of India again?”

“You go down the list and honestly, I think people are going to miss Donald Trump really quickly. I think they will miss him really quickly because some of these executive orders, 40 in the first day, are madness,” he said.
